The Barclays US Airways Premier World MasterCard currently has an awesome sign-up bonus of 40,000 miles, which requires no minimum spend! You can spend as little as $1 and you’ll get 40,000 bonus miles – What could be better than that!

The new news is, that from July 1 – August 31, 2014 Barclaycard will also be offering a 20% bonus on all earned miles!

Barclaycard will also be sending out targeted 30% bonus offers via email, to some, so be sure to keep an eye out on your email.

Additionally, Barclaycard will also be refunding all foreign transaction fees on this card from July 1 – August 31, 2014.

This card does have an annual fee of $89 which is not (officially) waived the first year. Though some have had luck getting the fee waived by requesting or by calling to cancel the card.

• One complimentary US Airways Club day pass each year.
• Redeem flights for 5,000 fewer miles on US Airways.
• 10,000 Preferred-qualifying miles every year you spend $25,000 or more on your card.
• 0% introductory APR for 15 months for each Balance Transfer made within 45 days of account opening.

Now, some of these benefits will be changing come 2015, when the US Airways American Airlines merger is complete, and this card is turned in an American Airlines credit card. Some of the changes will be include the elimination of the $99 companion pass and First class check in, will also go. Though for mileage junkies, this shouldn’t really make to much of a difference at this point, as this card is easily churnable, and you can very well be on your 4th-5th card by 2015!
