United Airlines currently has a promo where you can book round-trip award travel to Europe for 20% off. A round-trip award is normally 60,000 miles, with this promo it’s just 48,000 miles. United allows “Open Jaw” award bookings. With this promo you can 
also book an “Open Jaw” award ticket. An “Open Jaw” is a ticket where the return or the next segment is not departing from the same arrival city. For instance, you can book an award from Chicago to Frankfurt And the Return From Zurich to Chicago instead of from Frankfurt.

- Discount on Saver Awards to Europe is valid only for travel on United– and United Express -operated flights and is not valid on United-marketed codeshare flights operated by other carriers.
- Discounted Saver Award is valid only for travel between the U.S. (excluding Hawaii) or Canada, and Europe.
- Discount is valid only for roundtrip travel in United Economy.
- Tickets must be purchased at least 21 days in advance to qualify for this discount.
- Open jaw itineraries within the same region do qualify for the Saver Award discount to Europe (e.g., fly into Chicago O’Hare and out of New York/Newark).
