The main difference between the Chase Freedom Unlimited and the Chase Freedom Flex, is that with Chase Freedom Unlimited you will will earn 1.5 points for every dollar spent on regular everyday purchases, whereas on the Freedom Flex you will earn 1 point per dollar.
Though the Freedom Flex offers rotating bonus categories each quarter, where you can earn 5% back on up to $1,500, when you activate the 5% back, whereas the Freedom Unlimited, does not have these 5% rotating quarterly bonus.
