CIT Bank has increased the APY on their no-penalty CD to 3.30%.
There is a $1,000 minimum initial deposit requirement.
One of the great things of this CD, is that there is no penalty if you want to access your funds before the CD maturity date. Alternatively if rates rise, you can pull out and switch to an account with a higher rate if those become available.
Rates are compounded daily with this CD, so if you pull out early, you will still earn all interest up until the day you pull out.
The CD is also of course FDIC insured.
