Citibank has just released a brand new credit card called the Citi Strata Premier Card! Citibank discontinued the Premeir card, and has converted all the Premier cards into Strata cards. The cards are pretty similar with some new added benefits on the Strata.
With the new Citi Strata Premier offer, you will earn 70,000 bonus ThankYou Points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months of account opening!
Additionally, you will earn 10 points per $1 spent on Hotels, Car Rentals, and Attractions booked on CitiTravel.
You will also earn 3 points per $1 on Air Travel and Other Hotel Purchases, at Restaurants, Supermarkets, Gas and EV Charging Stations and 1 Point per $1 spent on all other purchases
Other benefits of this card include a once per calendar year, $100 off a single hotel stay of $500 or more (excluding taxes and fees) when booked through CitiTravel. This benefit will be applied instantly at time of booking.
There are no foreign transaction fees on this cad, and the points will not expire for as long as you remain a cardholder. There is a $95 annual fee.
The 70,000 signup points can be redeemed for $700 in cash via direct deposit, a check in the mail, or gift cards to a variety of merchants. The points can also be used to shop with points at select stores including Amazon, or can be transferred over to airline partners at a 1:1 ratio.
Transferring your points over to airline partners for airline miles, can be more lucrative many times, depending how you redeem those miles, than the 1 cent per point value that you can get when redeeming for cash or gift cards.

- Aeromexico
- Air France/KLM Flying Blue
